Dear Colm,

I have arranged a ticket for your show, upcoming September the 22nd, in Dublin.
WAW, I am already very excited to see you live perform and also in Dublin, I am so totally in love with that city!!!
Been there already twice, once for work and once for pleasure, and for this year I have planned two trips; in April and September.
So much looking forward to both events, but of course the most to my September trip...!!
And to see you live perform at the National Concert Hall!!!

I remember my first visit to the Phantom of the Opera very well.
Since I am Belgian and living in The Netherlands, I went to see the musical in Antwerp, Belgium.
I was immediately in love with both the story and the music and remember very well the last singing note of "Music of the Night".
Very, very impressing! So from the moment I heard you sing "Bring him home", I knew for sure you had sung "Music of the Night" as well...
So a wonderful Internet-quest began :)

I've seen a lot of clips and my 'quest' has lead me through some wonderful plays on the Internet and great singers, from you to Ramin Karimloo.
I have now purchased your dvd, where you singing along with Patty Lepone and I have enjoyed it very, very much!!!
A visit to your concert in September was just meant to be
Even more because I do know the story of Les Miserables very well.
I had to read all the novels for my French-class in High school.
I did so together with my wonderful grandmother.
She had been working all her life in Brussels and her French was absolutely flawless.
So in order to improve my French, we read the novels together.
But although she wasn't a reader at all (she didn't like books very much, could not concentrate that easily), she read secretely during my absence
Some great, great memories... But she has passed in 2012...
I still miss her every day but my dear Colm, when I hear you sing... I know that together with so many, every angel must feel like in heaven!

Looking forward to see you in September and in the meanwhile, the Internet-quest and exploration continues!

Best regards,
Barbara Vicca

Colm,

Remember, back in your Phantom Toronto days, when a music teacher from Niagara Falls NY often brought a busload of students and adults to see you perform? We always waited at the stage door for you, and no matter how tired you might have been, you were always gracious and outgoing to the students and myself, telling stories and signing playbills. Witnessing your performances as the Phantom, and later in your limited run of Les Miserables, instilled a love for musical theatre in my students that lives on to this day.

Well, I’m retired now (my third year of living off NY state, haha) but I still organize theatre trips for groups to our area touring house, Shea’s Performing Arts Center. I attended your performance on Tuesday November 10 at the University at Buffalo Center for the Arts. Bravo, bravo, bravo! It is such a treat to hear you perform!

I hope you are well, and I look forward to another opportunity to catch you live again!

Warm regards,
Paul Wos

Hi Colm,
Most Sunday afternoons as a kid, my father (Sean Barron) would arrive home and tell me about a singer he had seen called Colm Wilkinson in The Wexford Inn, Dublin. He was a big fan and would also mention someone called Pierce Webb. My dad passed away in 1977 at the age of 34 and I was told only last night by a relative that you paid him a visit in hospital shortly before he died. True or false, you have a fan in his son....

Hi Mr. Wilkinson, saw you in concert Friday. *Life Made* as the kids say. Agree with previous post, LOVE the Broadway songs, but LOVE the Beyond songs too. ‘There Was A Dream’ and ‘First of May’ are SO good. Maybe one day a concert(s) of Beyond-only songs in NYC?

And when you go see Lin-Manuel Miranda’s show, can you two sing ‘Confrontation’ from Les Mis and film it? -- maybe do it as a small fundraiser of sorts for charities? -- Fans of both shows would go absolutely crazy!!!

Dear Mr. Wilkinson,

Hello ! I have been your fan for about 2 years since I watched the Les Miz movie. I've brought all you solo CD albums and musical cast recordings.Your voice is the best comfort I have whenever I am down, frustrated, sad or happy, your voice keep me grounded to appreciate life. Thank you so much !

I am writting to make a request of songs and also to let you know that there are plenty of young people here in China who love you and admire your singing.

I love all your songs, you are the best Valjean, Phantom, Che and Judas! (Would you do more songs from "Jesus Christ Superstar" ? Or would you do "Stars" from "Les Miz" ? ) Also, I am especially fond of your rock and roll and country style songs. You look great with a guitar ! I was very lucky to have listened to couple of your songs from the vinyls through some other fans of yours from different parts of the world on Internet. Thanks to you we become pen friends with each other for a while now. I am curious that whether you plan to do your wonderful debut "Born To Sing" and your other early songs like "Old Man" ,"There Was A Dream" again ? I really love the lyrics and melody you wrote. By the way, I love your soft-spoken voice and accent all the time !

Because of you I fell in love with Irish music too, so would you please sing more Irish songs like "Isle of Innisfree","Carrickfergus", "The Town I Loved So Well" ect.? I am looking forward to hear about news of your upcoming concert on 11th ! Wish you have a great time there !

Thank you for reading.

Best wishes to you and your family !

I love you Colm ! Please take care. : )

Sincerely yours,

Ivy Luo

Your music is incredible and your voice can move me to tears. I've been a fan since Les Miserables over 25 years ago. Will you ever hold a concert in Los Angeles?

Hi Colm, Saw you guest at the Earl Gill Tribute in the Gaiety Dublin, 1st November 2015. Your voice is just awesome and you haven't lost it! I have been a loyal fan of yours since the early '70's and wherever you were playing, I was there, from the Drake Inn to New Street and the Country Club and Dun Laoighre. Your rendition of "Hey Jude" on the Earl Gill Tribute brought it all back, the great songs you used to sing i.e. Bee Gee songs like "1st of May" etc. Your sang them with such clarity and passion, like a story. I can't get to see you in Japan or Canada but I can listen to your cd's which I have. I went to the Palace in London to Les MIs and also to O2 Dublin for the opening night, middle run and closing night. You are just amazing. You have been blessed with a powerful singing voice which is just awesome. Would love you to record a cd with all the old Beatles and Bee Gee songs. It would be a huge seller. Anyway hope to see you back in Dublin in the new year for a rockin' concert. From one of your many huge fans...Rita

I am so excited to have VIP tickets for your performance in Burlington, Ontario this November. My husband and I are traveling all the way from Prince Edward Island on the east coast of Canada to be able to go to your concert. I have been trying to hear you sing live for about 20 years now. I had a bit of a Phantom obsession in my teen years and listened to the Toronto recording with you singing the role about a million times, which allowed me to develop a deep appreciation for your voice. I was so excited to get to see the Phantom at Pantages with my sister in 1995 but was disappointed that you were no longer in the performance. About 5 years later I heard you were playing in Les Mis in Toronto where I was living then, and waited in line in the frigid Canadian winter with my cousin, who shared my interest. But we were terribly disappointed when the show sold out before we could get tickets. At that point, I didn't know where I would ever get a chance to see you perform as you were not in any regular performance. After moving back to PEI and starting a family, we were in Charlottetown in 2008 or 2009, I think, on an outing with our first daughter and I happened to notice your name on the sign at the Confederation Center for a show that night and was again disappointed that we could not arrange our plans to make it. But that made me aware that you were touring and I began to watch this website to find a performance in a location close enough to realistically be able to attend. Arizona, Japan not very likely...but Ontario we can do....it's still a bit if a stretch, but my husband has kindly indulged me as a 15th anniversary gift and I will finally be able to hear you sing in person. I fully expect to melt in my seat from the pure clarity and awesome power of your voice. Looking forward to a wonderful evening, I’m sure!

Dear Mr Wilkinson,

I am writing to say thank you for helping me teach the children in my class about the passion of Christ.

I am a primary school teacher in Scotland and was recently teaching the children about Jesus in the garden. They weren't really getting the emotion behind the story, so I decided to let them hear you singing it.

A class full of noisy 10 and 11 year olds was silenced! They listened in astonishment all the way to the end of the song. They were silent for a few moments and then the questions started... "Who was that singing?" "He's amazing what else does he sing?" "Can we hear it again?" "I bet if God could sing he'd really sound like that!" Needless to say I let them listen again and they loved it. You're one of their favourite singers now.

Thank you for making my job a little easier, for reaching my class emotionally and for helping me to introduce them to musical theatre. I have always loved your music and now they do too. It's so great to see them experiencing listening to such a genuinely talented person!

I do hope to see you in concert if you come back to Scotland/UK at any point. I was working in Singapore last time you toured here sadly.

Take care and thank you again!

Yours sincerely

Erin Lothian
