Hi Colm!
I am a hugest fan. I was so excited to see you in the new Les Mis movie. You were amazing as usual. I didn't really think Hugh Jackman's voice was that great and could only think of how much better the movie would have been with you in the role!!! The movie was average at best and no comparison to the Broadway casts but seeing you in it made it worth the ticket cost!

Hi Colm,
Just want to say that I'm your most ardent and newest fan. I saw Les MIZ movie on Xmas and thought the priest looked familiar . Of course, I also heard the name Colm Wilkinson. However, I never put the face and name together. I thoroughly enjoyed the movie and loved Hugh Jackman but I wanted to check u out too. Well, I almost fell off my seat . YOU ARE UNDOUBTEDLY THE ABSOLUTE BEST JEAN VAN JEAN EVER. I wish I could have seen u in Broadway but strangely, I thought that Les MIZ was not going to be to my liking. I was so wrong about that. I know u would have been even better than Hugh Jackman ( and I loved his performance) BUT U WOULD HAVE ROCKED THAT PART! I enjoyed ur part in the movie too as well as all the other leads. I realize a film is a different medium so the leads may have not had the broadway caliber of others, but THEY WERE RIGHT FOR THE PARTS. Even so, I know you would have been awesome! But don't worry, I'm buying ur cd's so I can listen to Bring Him Home. It's a bonus fore that u r Irish born . IRISH PEOPLE RULE.

Dear Mr. Colm,
Sorry to date you buuuut my parents saw you as the Phantom in 1990 when my mom was pregnant with me! (She claims this is why I am a fan now haha). My Dad introduced me to Les Miserables when I was eleven and I've been addicted ever since (I got to be in a community production of it the following year!). After wanting to attend your concert for years now, we had the pleasure of seeing you together in Missisauga two weeks ago. And you've still got it! Loved the variety you covered. Thanks for a lovely evening. We went to see the Les Mis movie as a family tonight and loved your cameo as the Bishop. Thank you for sharing with us!

Dear Sir,
I first saw you perform the role of Jean Valjean in 1987 at the age of 17. I knew even then, I was seeing something special. I saw you again as the Phantom in Toronto in 1989 and once more in 1998 in Toronto when you reprised Jean Valjean. Les Miserables has been my favorite musical since that first show in '87. I have seen many many productions over the years, and yes, there have been some fabulous voices, but none that can compare. Thank you so much for 25 years of music that makes me smile (and takes my breath away) every time I hear those first few powerful notes.

Mr. Wilkinson,

I've been an avid fan of "Les Miserables" since I was introduced to it in 1988. I worn out a cassette tape each of the Original Cast Recording and the Original Broadway Cast Recording. Because of this, your voice will always been the one I think of as Valjean, the voice all others must equal.

Today I went to a screening of the new feature film version of the musical. The movie is utterly fantastic, and it was indeed a treat to see you on the screen. I may be grasping at straws, but I feel as though you brought an additional warmth to the Bishop's character, as a if a father looking at his son (the elder Valjean and the newcomer).

Thank you for making such an enduring character come to life, and thank you for taking part in the movie.

I couldn't believe my luck in that I just so happened to be listening to the CBC out of Ottawa when I heard that you were performing at the Centrepointe Theatre. I am a life long fan and I was able to score two tickets for my girlfriend and myself. It didn't matter where we sat, I would have hung upside down to see you and you have been on my bucket list to see for many years...a story for another day, however. We so thoroughly enjoyed your concert and hope to see you again soon. I also want to thank you as I have also become a fan of Ramin Karimloo and went to Albany NY to see him.
You are an incredible man and a voice from somewhere in our wonderful universe (heaven).
Take care and a very Merry Christmas to you and your family...
Until the next time...:-)

I had the absolute pleasure of seeing you in concert last night in Ottawa. I was three rows from the front and right in front of you. Pure magic. If you are considering future CDs, I sure hope you would consider a Christmas CD because your SILENT NIGHT and LITTLE DRUMMER BOY have to be made available somewhere. They were too sacred not to be. your spare time (smile) a CD of cover songs, especially Irish songs, would sell like hotcakes. Again, thank you for sharing your gift of music with us. Merry Christmas to you and yours, Colm. Bless you.
