Mr. Wilkinson:

I wish to take a moment and say how much of an inspiration you are for me. Since last February, when someone wanted me to step out of my comfort zone and sing a song from Phantom of the Opera for Valentine's Day, I have been obsessed with Phantom. Since then, one of my dream role has been the Phantom. I wish my drama teacher would allow my school to do it, but she is adamant about that.

When a local musical enrichment society performed a variety show they called "Broadway Nights" this September, I fell in love with another musical, Les Misérables. I was ushering and got to see "Broadway Nights" four times and as their finale they performed "One Day More." I missed that song so much, I went home and saw it on the Internet. The version I saw just so happened to be the Dream Cast version and I practically fell in love with the rich, deep tone that your voice has. Jean Valjean became another dream role for me.

So, I guess the whole point I'm trying to make is how jealous I am because you have been able to play both of my favourite roles and, I think, you played them brilliantly.

Thank you so much,
Allen Soard

Hello Colm,

Think back to your Phantom days (years) in Toronto. There was a music teacher named Paul from Niagara Falls NY who brought groups filled with students around 25-30 times over the run of the show. You were always so gracious and warm to them, those were moments experiencing theatre that they will never forget.

Well, this is Paul the teacher saying hello! I just experienced your concert performance in Buffalo last evening (10 Dec) and it was such a treat to hear you sing again! One thing was clear, you looked like you were really enjoying yourself during the entire show! BRAVO to you and your talented guests and band! I saw Ma-Anne several times in the Toronto production of Miss Saigon, she is extremely talented.

Admittedly, it's been a long time since I last saw you perform; a little over a year ago, I retired from teaching high school, as I was offered an early retirement incentive which would pay my health insurance for life. It was impossible to say no. When you have performed in recent years in Buffalo, I was always facing a conflict due to my school schedule with rehearsals or performances, or I had a performing gig myself (I play trumpet professionally in several bands.)

I just wanted to say hello and extend wishes for a wonderful Christmas season to you and your family. I hope you will see this!

Merry Christmas,
Paul Wos

Hello Colm, I was in the audience last night at the Flato theatre with my husband, who didn't really want to be there, but he loved it and thought you were amazing!

I had never seen you perform, I just heard you voice on the radio and loved it and the passion and feeling you put into songs. We were both amazed at your range of tone and your ability to sing a wide variety of music, and we loved your sense of humour! We were awed at how long you could hold a note! I wish I could remember all the great jokes!

I am from Dublin too and was born in Drimnagh, on Mangerton Road, I am thrilled that you are Irish and I can say someone wonderfully talented came out of Ireland!

Wish you the very best this Christmas, and all the best in the coming year!

Thank you for a delightful evening and a great memory!

Thank you for a wonderful concert in Buffalo last night! The evening performance warmed us on a very cold night. "This is the Moment" always brings happy tears because it was played for our first dance together at our wedding in 2010.

I loved your show last night in Buffalo 12/10/13. I am trying to figure out either the 2nd, third or 4th song It was slow & you sang it with your guitar I think it had something about living alone???? I loved it and really want to know what it is. Thanks!

my review:
Colm Wilkinson Delivers! I saw his show at the Theatre in the University of Buffalo last night. PACKED house. He looked and sounded spectacular. Currently touring with a 7 piece band and two female vocalists. Longevity? Mick Jagger could learn from this man. SMOKIN hot vocals, and some kick-ass guitar to boot. His stand-up comedy alone was worth the price of admission! As a singer, performer, and entertainer, very few can touch him, ever have, or ever will.

Mr. Wilkinson, what an unbelieveable show tonight in Buffalo, ny. I was lucky enough to see your show about fifteen or so years ago in Buffalo and loved it so much that tonight, we took our three children, 22, 18, and 15. They loved it, tears of joy were shared tonight. Your voice is amazing, thank you for a night to remember for years!!!
